The compOsitioN
I started writing by arranging songs that I loved to be able to play them with friends in the first concerts at the time of the conservatory. Then the great season of transcriptions began for the most varied formations of mine and of my students and this work still continues weekly. Only later, during the flute diploma, I became passionate about the possibility of writing something completely autonomous and I am continuing on this path.
I am particularly attached to the song "Cerca" dedicated to Maestro Claudio Scimone, to whom I owe a lot, which found its first performance among the "Solisti Veneti" strings on March 8, 2019.
Important experiences in the field of composition: winning the II and III prize in the composition competition of the "Pollini" Conservatory (2004, 2005), III prize (I and II not awarded) at the Regional Competition for choral composition and harmonization of Castelnuovo del Garda ( 2006), II prize (I not awarded) at the IV Composer Competition "Choir Laboratory. XXI Century" in Saint Petersburg (2011), Award of the Veneto Region for semi-serious work for children's choir and piano "La vera storia of Barbasucon ... and of a pan "on texts by Valeria Bolani (2012)," L'orsacchiotto dall'oblò "on text by Valeria Bolani - piece selected to participate in the 57th Zecchino D'oro broadcast in Mondovisione (2014) , III prize (I and II not awarded) at the "Voci & Tradizioni Junior" regional choral competition (2020), II prize at the New Music of Livenza Competition (2020).
